Want to spread the vegan message without having to say anything at all to anyone?[tweet this] Want to make people think without engaging in actual conversation? Want to make a billboard out of your bosom?[tweet this] Well have I got a treat for you! [tweet this]
I’ve had a lot of people ask where I got my tank top with the Bite Size Vegan logo on it, and it’s from my Zazzle store, only I cut out the logo off the T-shirt and sewed it onto my tank top. You may not know that I have a Zazzle.com store because it’s not a terrific setup and I’m awful at marketing.
While I have a lot of ideas for vegan message wear, I lack the time and a lot of the skills to implement the whole shebang. So when I was approached by District Lines a number of months ago to start a store there, it seemed like a great opportunity to create some new vegan message T-Shirts.
I had the help of two fantastic volunteer designers, Laurrianne and Mattia, who somehow translated the concepts in my head into beautiful images, excepting of course my awesome PowerPoint-created Bite Size Vegan logo…that was all me.
You can find links to their incredible artwork below or by clicking their names above. So let’s see the goods, shall we?
Of course there’s the classic Bite Size Vegan logo shirt [design by me on PowerPoint! skillz…]
There are two awesome versions of the “Keep families together: ditch dairy” shirt: [tweet this message]
And one of my favorite quotes of me, which may be the most narcissistic thing I’ve ever said, from one of my very first Bite Size Vegan nuggets:
Because I really believe that veganism is no respecter of persons and should be open to all.
So that’s it! There’s a link to the store if you want to check it out for yourself. I’ll leave the Zazzle store up for the heck of it and because it has stickers and other things.
So if you want to rock out some vegan logic and support Bite Size Vegan with a portion of your purchase, that would be pretty darn cool. The shirts are of course non-animal derived and, at least from what the companies claim, sweatshop-free.
If you do get a T, feel free to post a pic on social media and tag me, or add the hashtags #bitesizevegangear and #bosomactivism cause I think that’s what you do on social media with these things, right?
Alright that’s the end of the announcement. When this video post goes live I will have just been at the 24 hour vigil with Toronto Pig Save bearing witness to the heartbreaking site of sentient being going to slaughter and I’m sure I’m going to have a lot to share with you from that experience.
And as ridiculous as it sounds, wearing message shirts is also a way of reaching people…there are so many ways by which we can advocate for the animals, so keep trying, find your voice, and speak out with everything you have.
Thank you all for your ongoing support and encouragement. I am going to keep going my very best to make a difference and I appreciate you sticking with me through this journey. Much love and all my thanks.
Check Out the New Shirts!
